Your donation helps ensure that those residents of New York City and the surrounding communities who are blind or reading impaired have the same access to print information that you do.

In addition to hours of up-to-date narration culled from popular newspapers and magazines voiced by volunteer readers, we provide programming aimed specifically at the needs and interests of the visually impaired.

We make radios available to all who qualify, either at low cost or, as a free loan for Medicaid recipients.

Gatewave is primarily funded by generous contributions from our listeners, their families and friends. When you donate to Gatewave, you join many concerned supporters and volunteers who help empower visually impaired people.
